| | Swimmin’ Women Re-Cap
We went up against some of the best competition in the state and did a pretty good job. Glendale, Rockbridge, Hickman & Blue Springs will make up 4 of the top 6 - 10 teams in the state this year. They are all filled with powerhouse girls. I thought our girls did a great job racing and looked good in the water. It was our first time racing in about 3 weeks, so I think there was a little rust. Our 200 Medley went a best time which was a great way to get things started. We had best times on the day by Maddie, Boo, Courtney, Megan Miller, Bobbles, Megan Pool, Gabby, Mack, Katie Mack, K-Mezz and Britt.
Ozarks Invite Re-Cap
A good start to the 2nd half of the season. All of the girls had the opportunity to swim at the Ozarks Invite this year, a first ever. We had some great performances and overall the girls had a great time together, even though the meet lasted almost 5 hours. I think the biggest thing we need to do in the last month of the season is get some more speed. There are a few other little things to clean up, but the girls are coming around well and I think our winter break practices are going to pay off in a big way in February.
Central, Joplin, Seymour Re - Cap
We got our first wins of the 2nd half of the season against Central, Joplin & Seymour. It was a little bit of a relaxed meet and several girls swam off events. We had lots of best times across the board, won all 3 relays and 2 individual events (100 back - Mackenzie and diving - Olivia). We had several best times for the girls - Kelsey, K-Mack, Megan Imhof, Ashlyn, Tasha, Rebekah, Courtney, Gabby, Hayleigh, MK, Mary Grace, Mack, Britt, Megan Pool, Megan Miller & Emily. Shalom had her best diving performance of the season. Peli and Courtney Stuvick now have 6 dives and have competed.
